I like to keep some of these around in case of an emergency or if something breaks. Not as nice as leather keepers but will get the job done.
I use these keepers on my everyday bridle, and they are great. Not as nice as leather ones, obviously, but they fit the bill for everyday riding. And if you lose one or one breaks, it's no big deal to stick another one on there. Nunn Finer scores again!
