uvex equestrian is going to reinvent itself in the area of riding gloves in autumn 2017, launching an absolute riding glove novelty. The innovative uvex ventraxion is available in five sizes “only”. The reason for this is as simple as it is brilliant: the glove perfectly adapts itself to the rider’s hand – thanks to the cut specially developed by uvex and the new soft-touch material it is multidimensionally flexible while being breathable and extremely airconditioned. The soft-touch material used in the contact areas of the glove provides for the rider’s hand to receive the necessary support and, at the same time, remain supple and sensitive.

With its innovative 4D-stretch combination, the uvex ventraxion sets new standards in terms of flexibility. Even long fingernails, which often used to stretch riding gloves to their limits, will no longer be a problem. The new glove adapts to the hand like a second skin, stretching in all directions. The flexible and breathable material providing for this adaptability has the additional asset of providing for an optimal air circulation, which makes the uvex ventraxion the ideal riding glove for all seasons. The optimal grip required by the rider is provided by the new soft-touch material, which also makes the uvex ventraxion very soft and comfortable to wear. Like all uvex riding gloves, the uvex ventraxion is suitable for touchscreens and washable.
Available in Black.
Do my riding gloves fit properly?
Anyone who rides on a regular basis knows that gloves not only offer greater comfort, but also a more secure grip on the reins. A proper fit and sufficient grip ensure a precise and tactile use of the reins.
Important when trying on: the optimal fit. The fingers should fit entirely inside the glove without leaving too much space inside the material. Wrinkles on the ring finger indicate that the fit is too loose, which in turn will limit control of the reins.
To determine if the length of the glove is correct, intertwine the fingers and press the material all the way down. Then look at the seams between the fingers to see if the length is correct and the glove lines up with the hand. The glove should also fit securely on the wrist. Simply close the velcro and check the fit.
Hands remain closed when riding – the glove should not apply too much pressure. For an optimal use of the reins, the rider’s hand needs to be soft and flexible. As a result, the glove should not cause any pressure points. To find out, form a fist with your hand and see if you feel any pressure points or if the glove fits comfortably firm and secure.
How do I wash my riding gloves?
Because hands tend to sweat particularly in the summer and riding gloves often get dirty, they should be washed regularly to maintain an optimal, secure grip.
A few care tips
Important: close the velcro strap, matching up the patches perfectly, to ensure that nothing gets stuck in the velcro when in the washing machine – so that the velcro closure continues to work properly. We also recommend placing the gloves in a laundry bag before washing them in the machine.
Specific instructions for hand and machine-washing can be found inside each uvex glove. When washing by hand, use a mild soap and water. Important: allow the gloves to air-dry and do not iron.
If gloves are only slightly dirty, the surface can also be wiped clean with a lint-free cloth.
