My old trainer had one of these in her grooming bucket, and all the horses loved it! So when I moved away, I had to get one of my own. My horse loves having his face scratched or groomed, so he loves this, of course. But it's also gentle enough to use on horses who are more sensitive to currying. I actually used it once to gently scrub a dirty, mud-caked leg wound (after sanitizing it, of course). My horse didn't seem to mind it at all, and it got the job done better than gauze or sponges. So it's more useful than you think!
