I have tried every available option. Cashel is the best I have found. decently durable, (horses are SO hard on these things!) breathable, doesn't rub. Love the long nose version for pink noses! I have had one horse who's conformation meant that the eye space wasn't big enough and it rubbed his eyelashes and caused irritation... but thats out of 15+ horses I have used these on.
I tried the absorbine fly mask as a recommended alternative this year, at a friends recommendation, when i found them on sale.... 3 of the 5 were distroyed within 3 days. *sigh*
These masks have been the most durable and well-fitting masks I've used. I like the options as well - the long nose works great for horses prone to sunburn.

This is the only fly mask that my horse can't get off.
My older horse wears this fly mask all spring and summer and has never had problems with it rubbing raw spots on her face. I have 5 of them that I rotate using on her and they clean up well and have been very durable. They dry really fast which is a big plus for me. Other brands i tried were stiff and rubbed hair off.
