Magic Cushion Medicated Hoof Packing

Magic Cushion Hoof Packing is a new generation of analgesic soft hoof packing material with anti inflammatory properties. It can be packed into the feet of horses suffering from sore or bruised soles. The anti inflammatory action quickly reduces the pain associated with these conditions. A Thermal study of feet suffering from these conditions showed a marked decrease in the hoof temperatures and a reduction of the inflammatory process of these equines within the first 48 hours. Magic Cushion is medicated to assist in the prevention of thrush and soft soles usually associated with hoof packing materials. This medication stays within the packing material during the length of a normal shoeing cycle producing a fresh smelling, dry, clean foot upon removal. 4 lb tub.

    I feel like I am a little bit superstitious about this product, but really believe this stuff works! It is SUPER sticky, so be careful when applying and be sure you bandage. Sometimes it seems like it sticks to everything BUT the sole!

    Perfect for after a day of showing or riding in new/different footing.

    I always apply with gloves on (latex) as this product is very sticky. To ensure that the product stays in overnight, I make temporary duct tape booties to hold it in.

    This stuff works great, it really helps ease the pain in my horses hoof. It is very messy and can be a pain to put in and deal with.

    While not inexpensive, this product is excellent for a number of uses. It can treat hoof infections like thrush, pull out heat, and give a thin soled horse relief from sensitivity to hot footing. Worth the money as the results are real and, in my experience, immediate.

    This stuff is amazing. Easy to use and works really well. Stays in the hoof and pulls the pain out.
    Is very sticky and hard to clean off though if it gets on your horse anywhere.

    This was recently recommended by our trimmer. I had a mare that chipped her outer wall and we couldn't get it grow back. The trimmer thought maybe there was an infection that we couldn't visually see. She gave me a handful to try for a few weeks and wow we are getting the sole support back that we needed. Amazing product!
