Developed by a team of orthopedic specialists, ShouldersBack™ is a vest-like garment that gently pulls the shoulders back to improve posture while riding. Its name comes from the continual call of "Shoulders Back" that riders hear. Wearing this product for as little as one hour a day can help retrain your mind and muscles to support your back and stand taller. Velcro® straps can be adjusted to increase or decrease corrective force.

A sheer variation of the original, ShouldersBack Lite™ brings you cool, comfortable posture no matter what the season.

Made In USA

Lightweight, comfortable and breathable, ShouldersBack can be worn under a show coat and is also great for everyday use.

ShouldersBack™ was featured in W magazine and at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as part of its extreme beauty exhibit. just ok for me

I think the Shoulders Back is fine for intermittent use, but I wouldn't want to get dependent on it. It is reasonably comfortable but could use some padding in the armpit area.

    Great but annoying straps

Posted by Annie on 29th Oct 2012

I really like how I can actually feel my shoulders more in line with my body and back. It's fairly easy to put on and as long as you have a shirt other than a tank top on underneath it's comfortable. However, where the straps velcro together can be a little annoying and I ended up cutting the straps to make them shorter for me which helps but the way it attaches is still annoying.

    Great Support

This supportive garment really helps riders focus on their upper body posture. We all have demons to battle in the show pen and if your upper body is yours this is majorly worth the investment.

    A great reminder

This works really well when worn on the horse and off - at the desk, driving, anywhere we tend to hunch unconciously. Great if you tend to ride alone a lot - it's a gentle reminder to pull your shoulders back and helps build the correct muscle memory.

    Does what it says!

Posted by R. Charron on 24th Oct 2012

Purchased a ShouldersBack Lite as I have scoliosis in my right shoulder and find it near impossible to keep it back while riding. The ShouldersBack helps me keep my shoulder back without having to constantly force it back and just have it gradually creep forward again. My instructor said I had better position/balance while wearing it. I have even worn it to bed to try and keep my shoulder in a better position while I sleep and to re-train muscle. Highly recommended!

    Works, challenging to fit comfortably

Posted by Paige on 24th Oct 2012

This product most definitely works - I'm terrible about my posture, and this provides a nice little reminder and guide while not being too restrictive. I did have problems with it rubbing me and with the velcro being exposed in places - with some adjusting I made it work, but I didn't want to leave it on for terribly long. Still, a great training tool.

Great way to get your shoulders back without using a whip. Light weight and super comfortable! It helps with my back problems as well.

    Great Therapeutic and Training Tool

Posted by Ellie Williamson on 24th Oct 2012

I use the shoulders back to cope with muscular imbalance and widespread joint problems, and I've found it to be very useful both on and off the horse! It's extremely helpful in maintaining proper form over fences and on the flat, but I also use it at home when working at the computer - it not only makes me feel better, but it teaches my muscles how to maintain proper posture!

Works great, comfortable, a great aid

Posted by Arianna K on 24th Oct 2012

This works extremely well, and is much more comfortable than a crop between your elbows. Helps to not curl your shoulders forward, especially over fences. It helped with my release too! I would just recommend wearing a shirt underneath to prevent chaffing/rubs incase you have sensitive skin.
