  1. Much easier than buckets 4 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Jun 2013

Way easier to treat abscesses this way, water stays hot longer, horse can't tip over bucket, etc.
However, don't turn out with this on if your horse might be doing any swimming...mine swam out of her paddock (paddocks around pond for water access) to go visiting and the boot filled with pond water and her foot stayed soaking all night....

  2. Works to help with abscess 3 Star Review

I used booties along with poultice pads to help draw out an abscess, and they got the job done well

  3. Reusable and durable 4 Star Review

Very happy with how well they stay on and how long they have lasted!

  4. Hugely useful, difficult to put on 4 Star Review

While I love the idea of this boot and how easy it makes soaking hooves, it can be a struggle to get it on. If you're on the fence about sizing, definitely go for the larger size - it will make putting it on easier.

  5. Nice for poultice or short term protection 4 Star Review

Nice boot. Sometimes hard to get on. I've used it with styrofoam for a foundered pony. Need to keep the velcro clean or it won't stick well!

  6. love this 4 Star Review

there is no other product i have found that works like this boot. it makes it so simple to soak hooves. can be abit hard to get on but once it is you just strap it and wait the horse can even pace or weave and this boot stays on.

  7. does the job 4 Star Review

I got these when my horse was having abscesse problems. Does the job, stayed up with hot water in and when you use mag paste and the horse was put out with others everyday. Can be a pain to get on but otherwise does a good job.
