Safety Cross Ties with VELCRO

Patented hook and loop design 'breaks' apart under a panic load, but the tie isn't really broken at all! The short end of the hook and loop stays with the horse and the remaining long section is still connected to the wall or trailer. Just catch your horse and put the tie back together! Fantastic idea for stables, it doesn't have the 'snap back' danger of a stretchy tie. Features a panic snap at one end and solid brass trigger snap at the other. A lot more attractive than baler twine everywhere!

    Great safety product

These are a great safety product, and save you from having to rig up baling twine (though I still do, just to be safe). The only issue I've had is that after years of use, the velcro loses its grip, so horses who really pull on cross ties learn that they can break loose.

    Catch 'Em

Great crossties even if your horse breaks away still can catch 'em thanks to breakaway design.

Why doesn't every barn have them?

These are hands down my favorite cross ties. They break away, but they never break themselves--just velcro back together and you're good to go! They also make a great shorter version for trailer ties.

    Description says it all

The best reason to have these? No more fraying bailing twine acting as the safety fuse on your cross ties. Also allows for a short "lead rope" when you go to catch your runaway horse if they break out of the ties. 5 stars!
