Product Description

Equine cold therapy is a critical part of the health and care of your horse’s legs, hocks and hooves. It can be used for prevention and/or treatment. For prevention, icing helps keep muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective tissue healthy. The most effective and certainly least costly method of physical therapy for the equine athlete is routinely applying cold therapy after schooling, a cross-country run or a horse show event. For treatment, the cold therapy can be used to help reduce pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, facilitate recovery after orthopedic surgery, reduce muscle damage and reduce heat. Ice Horse cold therapy leg wraps are especially beneficial for bowed tendons, bucked shins, tendonitis, bruises, ligament/tendon/muscle damage, hematomas, laminitis and wind puffs.

Quality insulated synthetic cannon bone leg wrap that stays cold up to two hours. Packs are re-freezable/reusable after three hours in the freezer.

  1. Great ice boot 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Jun 2013

These conform well to the horse's legs and are perfect to help a horse recover from a work out or after and injury! My ice packs did not stay cold for longer than twenty minutes, however, that is as long as I used the product so it was perfect!

  2. Great and easy to use 5 Star Review

I did not read manufacturer's instruction and put my ice packs in the freezer and they were not easy to use. After following directions, they worked beautifully! They stay cold a long time. Highly recommend!

  3. Use daily 5 Star Review

I use IceHorse boots every day on my horse after workout. They work wonders for cooling down the legs after exercise.

  4. Great Boots 5 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Oct 2012

I bought these boots for my older horse with a tendon injury. I had purchased some Professional's Choice ice packs before that, and not only did they not last (The cells started popping), it was hard to hold them on while putting a polo wrap on top. These boots are so easy to put on, stay in place well, and stay cold for a very long time.
