Letter from Curvon's President

Dear Horse Clothing Buyer,

Most people think we’re in the horse clothing business, but I know that we’re really in the service business. My Grandfather went to work for Curvon over 80 years ago, and my Dad came aboard just after WWII. It hardly seems like I’ve been here for more than a quarter of a century, but I have. And if I’m lucky, maybe one or both of my young daughters will carry on the family tradition.

I recently had lunch with an old elementary school teacher of mine. He was quite surprised that we were still in the business selling and manufacturing items here in the United States. I assured him that we had a bright future, as long as we kept offering solutions to the needs of our many long time customers around the country.

There’s an old saying that goes “It’s easier to keep a customer than to find a new one.” That’s especially true in this business. At Curvon, we’ll always be truthful with you and we won’t make promises we can’t keep.

We’re all partners in this very mature and well-defined industry. Many outsiders have come into this business to make a quick buck, only to exit once they learn just how small and challenging the industry can be. I hope you’ll read through our catalog and contact us if we can be of further help. It would be our pleasure to establish yet another long-term relationship with someone like yourself.
